<p>This plugin let’s you place notes on images like you know it from flickr. Via a additional box in the admin’s post edit view you’re able to place notes on images associated to the post.</p>

<p>Uses the <a href="http://odyniec.net/projects/imgareaselect/" rel="nofollow ugc">imgAreaSelect jQuery plugin</a> by Michal Wojciechowski and is based on the <a href="http://www.sanisoft.com/blog/2008/05/26/img-notes-jquery-plugin/" rel="nofollow ugc">imgnotes jQuery plugin</a> by Dr. Tarique Sani.</p>
<h3>Workflow</h3>
<ol>
<li>Add a new post or edit an existing one</li>
<li>Upload the images via the WordPress media upload tools and insert it in the post</li>
<li>If the post is new, safe it as draft and reload the page, the images should be visible in the thumbnail list</li>
<li>If the post is an existing one just hit the “Reload” link in the thumbnail list and the new images should be visible</li>
<li>Click the thumbnail of the image you want to add notes to and click the “add note”-Button.</li>
<li>Add all your notes, they will be automatically saved as you click “Save note”.</li>

<p>Dashboard Notes lets you create super simple notes and instructions for your clients within the WordPress dashboard. Choose the color of the notification, whether or not to include a logo, and exactly what pages to include the notification on (uses simple URL matching).</p>
<h4>Usage</h4>
<ol>
<li>Install the Dashboard Notes.</li>
<li>Go to Appearance > Widgets where you will see a new “Dashboard Notes” sidebar.</li>
<li>To create a note, simply drag a new widget into the sidebar and give it some content (we typically use a text/HTML widget).</li>
<li>Once you’ve added content to the widget, click save, and the Dashboard Notes settings for this widget will appear.</li>
<li>Adjust the settings to meet your needs, and click save when you’re done.</li>
<li>Refresh, or navigate to any page to see your new note in action.</li>
<li>Use the plugin settings found via <strong>Settings > Dashboard Notes</strong> to choose which user roles can/can’t see the notices.</li>
