A simple plugin that gives you the flexibility to set whether you want individual plugins to update or not. This is something I find very useful on many of my sites. Some plugins have been edited by previous Developers and they cannot be updated. Other plugins on the same site still need to be updated. You can set this to update the ones that can be updated automatically and don’t need specific attention.
Choose whether you want the updater to update even though you are using a version control system such as SVN or git.
Users can set automatic updates:

<li>For Major WordPress Releases</li>
<li>For Minor WordPress Releases</li>
<li>For Themes</li>
<li>For All Plugins</li>
<li>For Individual Plugins</li>
<li>Change notification email address.</li>
</ul>

I use this on all the sites I develop.  It works great! I really like the individual plugin setting feature.  It allows me to select which plugins automatically update.  This is something that Advanced Automatic Updates does not allow you to do.

<h3>Usage</h3>
From the Tools menu select <code>Rollback Core</code>, select the version you wish to rollback to from the dropdown and click <code>Rollback</code>. You will be directed to the <code>update-core.php</code> page where you should see a button to <code>Re-install</code> your specified version. If you move away from the <code>update-core.php</code> page before clicking the <code>Re-install</code> button you will have 15 seconds to return and complete the process or you will need to start over.
In multisite use the Settings menu.
WARNING: Downgrading WordPress Core may leave your site in an unusable state requiring a complete reinstall or a forced reinstall using WP-CLI, <code>wp core update --force --version=5.5.3</code>. It may also leave your site broken due to a plugin or theme incompatibility. Use at your own risk.
Rollbacks use your current locale.
