This plugin adds a featured image column to WordPress Dashboard. It automatically adds a column to any post type which supports a featured image. It’s an improvement from the plugin <a href="https://wordpress.org/plugins/add-featured-image-column/" rel="ugc">Add Featured Image Column</a>.
<ul>
<li>If the post has no featured image, it displays a “No image” svg icon to indicate this.</li>
<li>If the featured image is broken, it displays a red “Broken image” svg icon to indicate this.</li>
<li>The plugin opens a lightbox when click on featured image.</li>
<li>You can enable or disable the blue border on hover.</li>
<li>You can enable or disable the lightbox feature.</li>
<li>You can choose the shape and size of the thumbnail displayed at the dashboard.</li>

This is a little plugin which adds a featured image column to WordPress. It automatically adds a column to any post type which supports a featured image. The code is pulled almost directly from my plugin <a href="https://wordpress.org/plugins/display-featured-image-genesis/" rel="ugc">Display Featured Image for Genesis</a>.

If you have ever been like me and kept having to open up the posts to see what featured image was attached, you won't be doing that anymore. This is a "must have" download for all my installs.



This is a great plugin!

Works great!

It's a simple plugin, which does what it says and solved the need I had.

However, as it is not configurable it is limited. For example, there are plugins that add a thumbnail to their CPTs and putting this one in comes out both thumbnails.

For this and other reasons I have created a plugin based on this one that allows you to choose in which CPT the image is shown, besides customizing, shape, size and other improvements.
