This plugin provides the integration between Google Analytics and the WooCommerce plugin. You can link a referral to a purchase and add transaction information to your Google Analytics data. It supports Global Site Tag (GA4) and eCommerce event tracking.

Good plugin

I see the faq about SUHOSIN and maybe that's the cause.  I think its possible to create plugins that don't require changes to server config just to save options.  And this plugin is as useless as the rest of the analytics plugins if I can't track ecommerce.

Settings won't save


The support forum is full of people complaining that page views are not sent correctly using GA4 - which everyone will be using seeing as universal is now being imminently retired.



The only advice given by plugin devs is to disable "add to cart" events, or modify the plugin code directly to fix their fault plugin logic. This issue has been around for 2 years.

Great Plugin for analytics


Поставил я плагин All in one seo pack. Прошел его настройку - просто согласившись - нажимая далее, чтобы быстрей это окно закрылось. И потом вижу что они принудительно видимо галку где-то там на Google Analytics для WordPress от MonsterInsights поставили. Этот плагин поставили и активировали.



Ставлю единицу команде разработчиков за такое поведение. нельзя галку ставить принудительно. Я сам должен ставить галку если хочу чтобы вы мне еще что-то стороннее ставили.


Поставили плагин не предупредив


The paid version really does seem promising. However, the free version is so barebones that you are better off using a different plugin that does the same job but is not cluttered with ads for $200 upgrades.

An update of MonsterInsights has automatically turned on email reports across all of my sites.



I am now having to login into all of the sites to turn the setting off.



This is bad practise to force a setting on users. Yes, install the functionality but NEVER turn it on automatically.

Changing Settings Without Permission


Used to be an easy way to add Google Analytics to customers' websites. Now all it does is spam the admin interface and, as of the last 48 hours or so, also your email address. Without an option to unsubscribe. Or rather there's an option to unsubscribe, which takes you to an option which SHOULD let you unsubscribe, but it's greyed out. It's the final nail in the coffin for this plugin as far as I'm concerned: I'm having to write a spam filter specifically for MonsterInsights' emails, and I'm slowly replacing it across all customer websites. I'll be glad to be shot of it and its relentless, unnecessary nagging.

After setting up the plugin, it automatically - and without asking for permissions - install a few more plugins from the same creator that start to hammer you for upgrades. Worse, one of the plugins is an "SEO" tool that will conflict with another "SEO" tool that you may have installed and then demand that you turn off the other tool.



If you don't know that you need this plugin, and/or you don't intend to buy multiple "monster" pro licenses - do not install this plugin.


Useful, but auto-installs a bunch of plugings w/o confirmation


Useless in the basic version. Overloaded with self-promotion, closed sections that you have to pay for. Messages about how you need to subscribe to Pro will pop up from all corners of your user interface.
