Description
Easy plugin to show the Copyright icon, Current Year, Legal Notice and Cookies Policy using shortcodes. Compatible with WordPress Multilanguage.
Just use this shortcodes:
- [c] for the copyright symbol.
- [cy] for the current year (four digits). Forget to change it manually every year!
- [legal_notice] you can set up the name and the link that you want to show.
- [cookies] you can set up the name and the link that you want to show.
Examples:
- [c] [cy] MyName = © 2020 MyName (it will display the current year)
- [c] 2014-[cy] MyName = © 2014-2020 MyName (it will display the current year)
- [c] [cy] MyName | [legal_notice] and [Cookies] = © 2020 MyName | Legal Notice and Cookies Policy
Installation
This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/wp-cyfooterinfodirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
- Use the Tools->WP Current Year and Footer Information screen to configure the plugin
