External Services

This plugin connects to external video platforms to display embedded videos in the WordPress dashboard widget. The following services are used:

YouTube

• Service: Video embedding from YouTube (provided by Google LLC)
• Usage: When a YouTube video is added to the widget, the plugin embeds it using YouTube’s iframe player
• Data Transmission: Video ID is sent to YouTube’s servers when the dashboard widget loads
• Terms of Service: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms
• Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Vimeo

• Service: Video embedding from Vimeo
• Usage: When a Vimeo video is added to the widget, the plugin embeds it using Vimeo’s iframe player
• Data Transmission: Video ID is sent to Vimeo’s servers when the dashboard widget loads

Note: For local MP4 videos, no external services are used as the videos are served directly from your WordPress installation.

1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/dashboard-video-widget directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
