If you are using a theme that removes support for the core block patterns and you want to re-enable them, this is the plugin for you.

Installation

From your WordPress dashboard

  1. Visit ‘Plugins > Add New’,
  2. Search for ‘enable core patterns’ and install the plugin.
  3. Activate ‘Enable Core Patterns’ from your Plugins page.

That’s it! No settings or complicated options.
Now when adding a pattern to your posts or pages, you will see the core WordPress patterns are available for selection.
