External services

This plugin connects to the PerkExtra server via API to validate the customer’s eVoucher, eGift Cards and Prepaid Card code.

It’s needed to check whether the code exists, used, expired and meets the required minimum spending (if any).

API call runs when the user redeems the code and when the order is placed.

It sends the following data:
– the code that the customer entered
– the webshop’s site url (the return value of get_site_url() function)
– the subtotal of products in customer’s cart

Also if any changes or new rules are introduced by the business in the admin interface, the PerkExtra server will be notified with email to ensure that all updates remain consistent with the terms and conditions set for reward tokens, eGift cards, and prepaid cards.

The email contains the following data:
– the webshop’s site url (the return value of get_site_url() function)
– date of change
– rules created (categories, products, card IDs)
