Description

This plugin takes the 5 latest posts from the FrontPage category and rotates their titles and excerpts using a JQuery scroller. Based on Scroll Up Headline Reader by Karl Swedberg.

User options allow setting custom width and height. Timing and direction of the scroll cannot currently be set by the user.

Installation

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

e.g.

  1. Upload /head_rot to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Place <?php headline_rotator() ?> in your templates
