<p>This is a little plugin which adds a featured image column to WordPress. It automatically adds a column to any post type which supports a featured image. The code is pulled almost directly from my plugin <a href="https://wordpress.org/plugins/display-featured-image-genesis/" rel="ugc">Display Featured Image for Genesis</a>.</p>

If you have ever been like me and kept having to open up the posts to see what featured image was attached, you won't be doing that anymore. This is a "must have" download for all my installs.



This is a great plugin!

Works great!

It's a simple plugin, which does what it says and solved the need I had.

However, as it is not configurable it is limited. For example, there are plugins that add a thumbnail to their CPTs and putting this one in comes out both thumbnails.

For this and other reasons I have created a plugin based on this one that allows you to choose in which CPT the image is shown, besides customizing, shape, size and other improvements.

<p>This plugin adds a “product type” column (with icons) on the products admin screen in WooCommerce which was removed in version 3.4.0 as a result of feedback in <a href="https://woocommerce.wordpress.com/2018/02/28/what-should-happen-to-the-product-type-column-on-the-admin-products-screen/" rel="nofollow ugc">this post</a>.</p>
<p>If you’d like the column back, simply install and activate this plugin and you’re set.</p>

WooCommerce Product Type Column

Didn't realise there was a poll about this column and thought it was gone for good.

I came across it when i got fed up not having it and tried to find a solution to restore it.

Based on number of active installs, i'd imagine only a few people know about this plugin and WooCommmerce should probably notify people who have bought Composite Products, Bundled Products or Subscriptions as i suspect they will be the ones who need it most.

I agree it might not be the prettiest solution and hope it will be improved in the new admin, but for now it works well for businesses that have more than one product types, especially if they have a lot of products.

Please don't abandon this code.
